Mrs. Carter: Oprah always gets to ask the tough questions…
On November 25, Oprah Winfrey is set to sit down with Justin Bieber for what is sure to be one of her most-popular editions of her “Oprah’s Next Chapter” series (at least when it comes to her younger viewers), and we are sure that there are going to be a number of interesting topics of conversation. So what will one of the primary ones be? As expected, she is going to have some rather unprecedented access to some personal questions about the 18-year old singer’s relationships that are typically out of bounds for most other interviewers.
One of the sweetest moments of the brief clip that was shown off during Friday’s “Good Morning America” was when Oprah asked how he and the former “Wizards of Waverly Place” star try to duck and cover away from the paparazzi, and he responded with the following message:
“Sometimes we gotta to take the back exits and do different things, but I never make her separate from me cause I don’t want her to feel like I’m ashamed of her … A lot of guys [in Hollywood] do that… they don’t want to be seen with the girl so they’ll make her ride in separate cars and do all that getaway stuff. If we’re getting away, we’re getting away together.”
Bieber has certainly been in some nasty run-ins with the paparazzi before, including a high-speed chase that once led to some great controversy as to whether or not he should have pulled over and called the police rather than allowing it to continue. These sort of problems have become increasingly rampant in California, even though Bieber has tried his best to live a relatively private life in a secure part of the Los Angeles area.
