Jani Lane, the former lead singer of the band ‘Warrant’ has passed away from causes unknown.
The 47 year old singer was found in a Los Angeles hotel room on Thursday night, but at this time no one knows what happened to him.
Friends and fans have been expressing their love and admiration for Lane through their Twitter accounts;

Jani reached his highest peak in the late 1980’s, early 1990’s when Warrant was turning out hit after hit with songs like ‘Cherry Pie’, ‘Heaven’, ‘Sometimes She Cries’, and ‘Down Boys.’
