For those of you sitting around and wondering what Demi Lovato was going to choose as the name for her upcoming studio album, we now know — and it is symbolic of her struggle of the past year.
In a new series of posts on her Twitter account Thursday, Demi finally made it official that her September 20 release will be untitled “Unbroken.” She also posted the picture to the left, but it is a bit unclear as to whether or not this is meant to be a part of the album cover shoot or something else entirely.
Demi has also released her first single from the album in “Skyscraper,” and it has been climbing up the Top 40 charts slowly — it should receive its first major boost next week, when she performs the song live for the first time at the VH1 Do Something Awards.
Ultimately, this title does exactly what the former Disney star likely wants it to — it is inspiring, a reminder of the past, but also a declaration that she will move forward and take down any obstacle that stands before her.
What do you think of the album title?
