The classic play “Death of a Salesman” is getting a major Broadway revival, and in the process it is getting some help from a certain “Spider-Man.” (Let’s just be thankful that it is not anyone from “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.”)
Per Deadline, Andrew Garfield is set to play the role of Biff in the Arthur Miller classic when it debuts on the stage in March 2012. Oscar-winner Phillip Seymour Hoffman is set to star as the tragic character of Willy Loman.
This announcement caps off what has really been a stellar past twelve months for the actor. First, he received critical acclaim for playing Eduardo Saverin in “The Social Network,” and he followed that up with creating such buzz for a “Spider-Man” project that it actually has people excited for a reboot that is coming just ten years after the original film.
Do you think Andrew is going to do a knockout job in this role? “The Amazing Spider-Man” hits theaters July 3, 2012.
