‘Bachelor Pad’: Ben Flajnik, Emily Maynard contestants Tony, Blakeley split

Tony PieperMrs. Carter: You might as well just rename this “national ‘Bachelor’ breakup month.”

First, we had the news that former “Bachelor” Ben Flajnik had split from the woman he chose on his season of the show in Courtney Robertson. In following that up, we had the giant tabloid mess that was “Bachelorette” star Emily Maynard’s split from Jef Holm after just a few months of being together. As short as these relationships were, though, the new winner for short relationships has to be Tony Pieper (who left Emily’s season early after missing his son) and former Flajnik castoff Blakeley Jones. The two were an unlikely partnership on the third season of “Bachelor Pad,” but eventually bonded; not only did they become engaged during the live finale, but Blakeley also announced that she was going to move to Oregon in order to be with Tony and his 11-year old son.

Unfortunately, Tony now tells Wetpaint that the relationship is now officially kaput:

“Unfortunately, things didn’t work as we had hoped … No one is to blame. It just ended up being a lot harder than we expected. I wish her nothing but the absolute best. She deserves total happiness.”

Blakeley is also going to reportedly move back to North Carolina in order to resume the life that she has before she and Tony got together. Ironically, this is also the home state of Emily, who is also trying to move on now after Jef moved to the state temporarily to make their engagement work.

Are you sad about this news, or did you more or less see this coming considering all of the breakups that seem to be happening right now? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and you can see what Emily is up to at the moment post-split at this link.
