Thanks to a number of hit singles over the past few years (not to mention screaming his name a good bit during some of his songs), Jason Derulo has become one of the most-successful young pop stars in the industry. While he has had the opportunity to work already with a number of incredibly talented people, there are still plenty of people out there who still interest him.
For example, the singer announced in a new interview that one of his “dream collaborations” at the moment would be with another young talent — “Skyscraper” singer Demi Lovato. He then went on to send this sort of praise her way:
“She is an amazing vocalist and a sweet girl. Most celebrities I meet, I pretty much hate, but she is a sweet person… As far as other collaborations, the sky is the limit. I like making music, so whatever happens, happens.”
Jason’s most recent single is entitled “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” and it has already seemingly reached its peak on Top 40 radio — meanwhile, Demi’s “Skyscraper” is still (to quote her song) rising from the ground.
Do you think this sort of collaboration could be a match in music Heaven?
