When you are the end of a relationship, let’s face it: more often than not, it is easy to be pretty bitter about what you just went through. After all, it’s once your heart is broken many times people will say some bad things about the other person, and then hide away while you get some of your own feelings together. However, Jef Holm is not doing that in the wake of his split from former “Bachelorette” star Emily Maynard, and is even saying some nice things now about some of what he did in order to spend time with her daughter Ricki and some other kids her age.
In response to someone on Twitter asking him to still throw some support behind Ricki’s Greenbeans soccer team, Jef responded with the following message:
“[Sending] good vibes to the Greenbeans. Girls were a such a blast to be around. Thanks for making my time in Charlotte great!”
The implications of Jef’s message back are pretty obvious here, as it looks as though his time in the North Carolina city is in fact going to be pretty short-lived. During the “After the Final Rose” special that aired in the summer, he vowed to move to Charlotte so that no one would have to uproot Ricki’s life. When it finally happened a short time later, it felt as though he was really just starting to settle in when his troubles with Emily really started to show. The pair finally confirmed their breakup earlier this week, and since that time Jef has been spending time with his friend Arie Luyendyk Jr. in Arizona along with some of his family members.
Do you think that this was a particularly nice thing for Jef to say considering what he and Emily obviously went through? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and you can check out some more scoop on Sean Lowe’s season of the show coming up next year at this link.
