The moment we caught wind that the former star of “The Bachelorette” (who finished second to Jef Holm when it came to winning the heart of Emily Maynard) was spotted kissing Ben Flajnik’s now-ex-fiancee Courtney Robertson, we knew that there were going to be some diehard fans who were not particularly happy about it. After all, Arie is one of the most-popular former contestants ever on the show in between his sense of humor and his big blue eyes that melts the hearts of women everywhere; meanwhile, Courtney was vilified for months earlier this year over her behavior towards some of the other women on Ben’s show, making it at times into more of a competition than a genuine search for love.
So what does Arie have to say about what happened now? In specific terms, not much, but he did pose a rather interesting question on his Twitter account that suggests that he is definitely feeling some of the burn from the internet community over what happened:
“Why is dating so confusing? I need a rule book.”
We have heard a number of people over the past few days say that he should not be seen out with a women who just ended her engagement a week ago, but you also have to remember here that there may be more to this story than meets the eye. Just because the announcement was made about Courtney’s engagement a week ago does not mean that is when the engagement actually ended; the couple may have been apart for several weeks, and it’s too hard to judge anything based on just one moment in time.
Do you think that Arie’s comment is related to the recent Courtney headlines, and if so, what do you think about it? If you want to find out some more good news related to a “Bachelorette” wedding, you can do so over at the link here.
