Unfortunately, the sort of “speaking out” that we are talking about here does not relate to the former star of “The Bachelorette” finally addressing all of the rumors related to her split with Jef Holm. Even though this talk has circulated around the couple for months, it really started to take off to a whole new level recently for one reason and one reason only: the talk that all of the tabloid madness led to the two parties breaking up this past weekend. The two have still not addressed each other publicly, and they also have only been spotted once while watching Emily’s daughter Ricki at a Carolina Panthers game at the local stadium in Charlotte.
Emily has started to at least surface again on her dormant Twitter account over the past few days, though she has not said anything herself about her relationship status with the man she picked on the show. Instead, she merely responded with some kind words and “thank yous” to some friends more or less telling her that she should not listen to the tabloids, and that she will get through whatever she is currently struggling with.
Unfortunately for Emily, we are starting to think now that she is in a situation where things are really not going to start leveling off for her until she does come forward and actually start talking about what has happened. Sean Lowe is probably not going to emerge as the biggest talking point for the “Bachelor” franchise until early next year when his season premiere. Until that point, Emily is probably going to be front and center on store shelves, including the latest Us Weekly rumor claiming that Jef was recently spotted with a “lookalike” at a recent event. However, we don’t buy this for a second; even if Jef and Emily are over, he would not be so crazy to really spend time publicly with someone who looks like her.
