It’s been a few days since the latest rumor arrived online concerning Emily Maynard and Jef Holm’s relationship, and we still don’t know whether or not it is true that the two parties broke up over the weekend. The evidence working to support this rumor is that neither the former “Bachelorette” or the man she picked have come forward to deny the talk, and neither has directly tweeted to the other person online. However, the two still do have photos of each other up as their Twitter profile photos, and this could be a sign of hope to some people.
For the first time in days, we have a new message from Jef now; and since we know that he is a smart guy and is more than aware of the fact that what he says will be carefully analyzed, let’s go ahead and dive straight into it:
“God is working behind the scenes of your life, orchestrating His destiny for you. – Greater, Steven Furtick”
So who is Steven Furtick? He is the 32-year old pastor of one of the fastest-growing churches in America in the Elevation Church, and this church just so happens to also be in Charlotte, North Carolina, where Jef moved to in order to be closer to both Emily and her daughter Ricki. The word “greater” is a reference to one of Furtick’s two books in Greater: Dream Bigger. Start Smaller. Ignite God’s Vision for Your Life.
As for what sort of destiny Jef is in the process of cultivating for himself here, that still seems to be a little bit of a mystery. If the rumors of a split are true, we have to believe that the two parties are going to try and work it out to get back together; who knows? Maybe the two are looking towards religion for guidance. One thing that is interesting here? If you search for “Elevation Church” on Google, one of the terms that comes up as a suggested keyword is “cult.” Then again, this may not be a conspiracy so much as people just choosing to hate on any form of organized religion.
