I mostly agree with what you said... i find 3 of the artists performing this year - each for completely different reasons - profoundly moving.

(1) Ella Henderson... she has depth and maturity beyond her years. She is note perfect and her tone, and her sincerity when she sings, has an ability to put the listener at absolute ease (unlike other performers in the competition, about whom you can't help but think, "ooh, when are they going to cock it up?").

(2) James Arthur... appears so straight, and down to earth, and just so "all about the music" and also performs so effortlessly... you can just sit back and enjoy his performance, troubled as he appears to be, and you know he'll deliver

(3) Jahmene Douglas... wow... i mean just wow... his vocal abilities are unparalleled in this competition... even the other boomers like Melanie and what's-her-name, oh yeah, Jade, don't have the vocal *dexterity* that he has... nervous laughter aside, he's truly phenomenal.

But my biggest gripe about your article is belittling Nicole... i like to think i can read people, and honestly, she is the nicest, most supportive judge on that panel... i don't know what was with her sitting in "Gary's seat" tonight, but she just oozes loveliness to me... honestly she may be American but i just get so much more sincerity and genuineness out of her than i ever did out of Cheryl... and i'm not just making this up, i don't think it's an act, i hang off her every word, looking for an excuse not to like her, but she is so supportive, and yet fair, and just, that i think you unjustified to criticise her as you have done in this article. Give her a chance, she has already found her way into my heart, open yours and you might just like - nay, love - her as much as i have come to.
