Cannot believe after Penny wanting so much to be with Leonard in season 4 that this episode has occurred. even after the proposal during sex she said relationship still ok and now suddenly she has doubts to extent of breaking up. Seems like writers just cannot work out what to do with them in relationship. Love them as a couple and cannot see how “friends” relationship will work after a second breakup

I totally agree i think the writers got backed into a corner and have no idea what to do know. that part of the episode was embarrassing to be honest. I expect more from this show. thank god they have Jim to save them cuz Sheldon is the only thing bringing me back. not only did they wipe out most of last season with this episode but season 4 as well when penny was wining about breaking up with Leonard. its a shame cuz i always liked them as a couple.

I used to root for Penny and Leonard as a couple, but this is getting ridiculous. Their romantic relationship is no longer realistic; they’re better as friends. Either way, I wish the writers would just make up their minds.
