Toronto born actor, Keanu Reeves has done his share of acting throughout the years in hit films like the ‘Matrix’ trilogy, ‘Speed’ and ‘Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures’, but now Reeves is looking to make his move into directing.
Keanu is in talks to get financial backing for the Mandarin-English language film ‘Man of Tai Chi’ that he will not only star in as the villain, but will also is his directorial debut.
Many actors in the past have tried to be in front of and behind the camera at the same time, wearing too many hats on a film’s production, only to have it all blow up in their face like the Tom Hanks flop ‘Larry Crowne’ that didn’t even make $1 million over it’s opening weekend. And I’m sure we don’t have to remind everyone about Kevin Costner’s ‘Waterworld’ epic fail.
Here’s hoping that it all works out!
