‘Celebrity Rehab’ creator has regrets making the show

Celebrity Rehab is helping people

Bob Forrest, co-creator of the hit reality show ‘Celebrity Rehab’ has expressed his regrets in making the program and says that if he could do it again, he wouldn’t have brought it to TV.

The regrets that Forrest is facing is that he created the show to try to help celebrities through their addictions, but feels that the show is making rehab look like a joke when it’s really not.  Bob explains;

“If I had to do it all over again, I don’t think I’d walk into the office and say we should do this show. People were saying rehab is a joke. Rehab is a real thing. I don’t like the editing of it. I don’t like that they show the same thing over and over again. I don’t like what it’s become, technically.”

Regardless of how Forrest thinks the show is being portrayed, he’s done a fantastic thing by bringing addicts the treatment they need.  Look at how well Tom Sizemore is doing, he’s gotten his life back on track and is working again and without ‘Celebrity Rehab’ that may not have been possible.
