Even though the second episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” airing on Thursday is going to focus on some of the immediate aftermath of the plane crash, it looks like some of this is also going to spill into the week that follows (which is entitled “Love the One You’re With”) based on the official description that has just been released by ABC.
We do know that this episode will be transporting us back to the present day that we saw during the premiere, as evidenced even more by the photo to the left of Cristina working at her new hospital. In addition to that, April and Jackson are going to be more of a focus than they have been all season long to this point (as short as that may be):
“The survivors from the crash are asked to make an almost impossible decision that will affect the rest of their lives. Meanwhile, tension grows between Jackson and April after they’re forced to work together, and Alex tries to restrain himself with one of the interns.”
So what is this “impossible” decision that they are going to make? It really seems hard to tell, since they have already dealt with one of the worst situations in watching their fellow doctor Mark Sloan slowly pass away. Plus, there has also been the decision made to amputate Arizona’s leg, which is something that is going to be an enormous source of conflict between her, Callie, and some other members of the hospital staff moving forward. How can anything really be worse than this?
As for Alex, we have already heard that he is going to find love in a major way this season, and we already have some suspicions as to who the target of his affections is going to be. (The keywords “one of the interns” are going to help to more or less give it away.)
