While Fox is usually pretty kind when it comes to releasing media from their upcoming episodes of “Glee,” they have been a little bit more stingy this time when it comes to one thing: giving us much to be excited about when it comes to photos.
So what gives here? Really, we think it all comes down to ensuring that much of the content for this ominous “Break-Up” episode stays under wraps until it actually airs. We have already shown you a video that features Darren Criss’ Blaine singing a somber rendition of “Teenage Dream,” and this photo merely shows off a rather sad-appearing Kurt (Chris Colfer) sitting at his desk at Vogue.com. If nothing else, he does not look like the same sort of giddy guy straight out of high school that he did during the episode that aired on Thursday.
Since so much of this episode is hush-hush, there’s not too much that we can share when it comes to plot. What we can give away is that Blaine will visit Kurt in New York City for this episode in an effort for them to reconnect after spending so much time apart, but it’s unclear whether or not this is really going to go as planned. Remember, the two have been moving in very different directions when it comes to their lives, and what is happening for Kurt (being the most extraordinarily lucky person alive to land a job under a major designer straight after moving to the Big Apple) and Blaine (winning class president and dressing up like a sidekick) are entirely different. Sooner or later, something is going to have to give: they will either have to learn to be extremely patient with each other for the next year, or go their separate ways for at least the time being.
What is your prediction on the status for Kurt and Blaine during this episode? We want to hear more from you below! If you want to read some more “Glee” scoop pertaining to Blaine and Marley (Melissa Benoist), you can do so by checking out the story here.
