We know that “Jersey Shore” is supposed to ride into the sunset after the end of season 6 later this fall … but is this really the end? Based on what Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is saying now, it does look like we could still see a little bit of fist-pumping and partying going on moving into the future in some other shape or form.
Speaking on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show late this week in order to promote the new season starting Thursday, Mike proclaimed that he is in fact working on a spin-off show, even if he did not elaborate on it much after that. He also said that it is theoretically possible that the cast could be doing something together again after this season, and he really would like to work something out at some point with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who he famously had a major feud with over some things that she allegedly did with him prior to season 4 filming in Florence.
When it comes to his future plans, there was one thing in particular that Mike stressed he would be very interested in becoming the next lead on “The Bachelor” after Sean Lowe handles the reigns this year:
“I would. Yeah. I would be very, very genuine. It would be a good show!”
We will say that a Situation-led “Bachelor” would at least be entertaining, and he would do some different things than we have seen on the show in the past. Plus, you already know that the guy is more than just a little bit comfortable with taking his shirt off.
