‘Jersey Shore’: Jenni ‘Jwoww’ Farley recalls quick rise to fame

She’s now a big name.

In the span of just two years, the cast members of “Jersey Shore” have went from being complete unknowns to some of the biggest names in reality TV — and they are all certainly reaping the rewards now. The entire cast of the show was paid $100,000 an episode to film both the fourth and fifth seasons, and they also have all sorts of promotional appearances and product lines when they are not enjoying their “GTL” lifestyle on the small screen.

It is not often that you hear some of these reality stars reminisce — which is probably what makes these new comments courtesy of Jenni “Jwoww” Farley all the more interesting:

“It happened so quick that one day I was just asked to go to the Spike Gaming Awards. I didn’t have a hair and makeup person and I was just thrown onstage with Mike Tyson to present an award. It was so random!

“When I go home now, my friends and family treat me the same. They’re like, ‘Dude, you’re Jenny, just get over yourself.’ It’s like when I go home, I get to be myself, I can still be me, but then I get to play this part of [Jwoww].”

Since first appearing on the show, Jwoww has moved on a new boyfriend, released a line of bronzer (which she uses plenty of herself), and has also done a variety of photo spreads with various magazines. In other words, it’s hard to know where she would be right now if it wasn’t for this opportunity.

What do you think the “Shore” cast would be up to right now if they were not stars?
