‘Game of Thrones’ season 3: More notes from Croatia filming

“Game of Thrones” is really now in the process of getting filming underway in Croatia, and thee quite a few good things that come along with that. Want to know one? The fact that we are really getting to see the actors in action shooting the show really for the first time since filming began earlier this summer.

In the latest video below via the local outlet DubovnikTV.net (via Winter is Coming), you can see at least some footage of the likes of Lena Headey (wearing an elaborate red dress) along with Peter Dinklage. The good news here is that we’re not seeing anything overtly spoiler-y here, and we wouldn’t post it here if it was simply so that everyone can really have an equal sort of opportunity to enjoy the new season without anyone really knowing anything in advance.

Basically, what we can tell you for certain is that filming on this season is set to continue for several months now, but should only remain in Dubrovnik for October. Why so short? Many of the interior King’s Landing shots have already been filmed back on the stages of Northern Ireland, and there are plenty of other locations production has to take off to. The show will be filming next month in Morocco, and there will also be some rigorous filming in Iceland later this year for Jon Snow’s scenes with Mance Rayder, who, in the event that you have not already, is going to be played by former “Rome” star Cirian Hinds.

How excited are you to see what transpires in the new season? We want to hear some of your thoughts with a comment below! If you want to see another video of some of the cast members actually arriving in Croatia, you can check that out over at the link here.
