With us now just two and a half weeks away from the start of “The Walking Dead” on AMC, isn’t it time to share at least a few more details about what we can expect? Luckily, the network has just unveiled its first official synopsis; and while it does not give much away, it does at least confirm much of what we have been hearing.
The only bit of sad news mixed in here? While we already knew that they were going to be making appearances, it still would have been nice to hear a little bit about either The Governor or Michonne with all of the hype around them:
“With the world growing increasingly more dangerous and Lori’s pregnancy advancing, Rick discovers a potentially safe haven. But first he must secure the premises, pushing his group to its limit.”
So what will this “to its limit” end up meaning? Our only guess is that it suggests that Rick is going to in part put some of these survivors in an even greater place of danger than they were in before. After all, the man’s sense of leadership is starting to change on the show versus where it was back in the city or at Hershel’s farm, but that does not necessarily mean that it is changing for the best as the group starts to realize that the walkers are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all of the problems that they are going to face.
What do you think about this description, and do you wish it was at least a sentence or two longer? If you want to see some proof that AMC is already thinking a little bit about the future of “The Walking Dead” beyond season 3, all you have to do is visit our story here.
