Do you want to catch a glimpse at “Nannies” from the world of “How I Met Your Mother”? No, we are not talking about actual nannies; rather, this is actually the title of the third episode of this season, and he nannies we are talking about here are actually not going to be all that good at their jobs.
Before we post the official synopsis via CBS, we have to warn you now that it does contain spoilers for our beloved gang and to read at your own risk:
“When Lily and Marshall have trouble finding a nanny, they learn it’s because of an elaborate scheme Barney came up with to [spoiler]. Meanwhile, Robin and Ted butt heads over who has a more serious relationship.”
Hopefully, by the time this episode rolls around we will actually get a better sense about who Nick is and when Robin started dating him, as we were actually a little disappointed that narrator Ted did not even reference the fact in the premiere that the two parties had met before in the past … and that he is really the reason that they did not get together then. This release at least does confirm that Michael Trucco and Ashley Williams will be around for at least two more episodes, and this is certainly very much a good thing, even if we know that they have to leave eventually due to destiny.
Do you think that this on the surface has all of the makings of a classic “How I Met Your Mother” episode, and how long do you want Nick and Victoria around?
