‘Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars’ review: Was Pamela Anderson the first one out?

Going into our first “Dancing with the Stars” results show of the season, we had a striking suspicion that it was going to be the end for former “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson. Not only did she have the lowest score during the first episode of the season, but she also went into this season with a fan following that was not entirely at the same level of some of the hit show’s other contestants.

Before we found out about the end result of Monday’s performances, though, let’s first complain about the obvious: why is this two hours long? We know that ABC is just trying to boost their own ratings, but spending two hours on one result is quite frankly exhausting. Sure, there were performances from Justin Bieber and Pitbull, but we’re not sure how many of this show’s diehard fans were really looking forward to them. (After all, the premiere brought in 14 million, but, but only around 3.5 million aged 18-49.)

When it finally came to be time to announce the people who were “in jeopardy,” Pam was of course one of the people on the list alongside Bristol Palin and (surprisingly) Drew Lachey, who was one of the most-popular winners in the history of the show. To make matters even more interesting, Drew landed in the bottom two alongside Pamela, which was his first time ever to be in danger of leaving the show. It was no surprise ultimately to see Pam leave, but it was also really sad. She really wanted to be back in the ballroom next week for the Broadway-themed show, and now, she’ll have to watch it from the sidelines.

What did you think about this result? If you want to take a look back at what happened Monday night, be sure to read the story over at this link.
