It’s rare that you can look forward to an episode airing in the middle of the season as much as a premiere or a finale, but “Sons of Anarchy” showrunner Kurt Sutter has managed to cultivate this very feeling for Tuesday night’s new episode on FX.
In case you have not heard already (which seems unlikely if you are a major fan of this show), someone is going to breathe their last breath by the end of this episode; and no, this is not going to be one of those cases where it is a character who has spoken two lines and no one will miss. In a post on his Twitter account, Sutter made what was partially a warning, partially a really cool tease, and also a smart way to get people to actually watch live to push the already-strong ratings even higher:
“if you DVR SOA tomorrow nite, stay off of the internet until you watch. it will be spoiled. treat it like a sporting event.
You can watch a preview for the episode here, but it unfortunately does not really give much away at all as to what is going to happen in the way of someone biting the dust. While this episode does air, Sutter is going to be hard at work crafting his 90-minute finale; and based on what he is currently saying, this will not be an easy task by any means:
“looking at a very full board as i begin writing 513. hopefully i can squeeze it all into 90 minutes. so much love. so much blood.”
