‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: ‘Bones’ villain to play mystery role

While Booth and Brennan are busy trying to hunt him down in Egypt, the man well-known for playing Christopher Pelant on “Bones” is going to take on some additional challenges elsewhere.

Only one week after we saw the events unfold with Pelant on the season premiere of the hit Fox series, TVLine is reporting that Andrew Leeds has landed some sort of major recurring role on the ninth season of “Grey’s Anatomy” Details are currently being kept under an incredibly tight lock and key, butt what we do know at the moment courtesy of some of the rumors floating around out there is that he will first appear during the November sweeps, which is a key period of time for any show to deliver big ratings. In other words, he is going to have an extremely significant role in what happens, regardless of how many episodes he is actually going to appear in.

Leeds is going to be joining what is in many ways a rather stuffed roster of guest stars for the ABC medical drama. We know that Camilla Luddington is going to be playing a major part as a new intern working under Ellen Pompeo’s Meredith Grey, and there is going to be another “True Blood” star in addition to Luddington stopping by for a story related to the plane crash in the finale. New episodes begin on Thursday night, so we will at least be able to say that we are on the road to figuring out just what sort of role Leeds has to play in the show as a whole.
