Charice had a busy night on Sunday, as she not only presented the Acuvue Inspire Award at the Teen Choice Awards to Demi Lovato, but also had to take the time out to do some traditional red-carpet press.
First, we turn to a new interview the singer gave to HollywoodLife — one where she gives us a tentative release date for her upcoming album of new material:
“I’m still working on it and it might come out early next year. There’s no official date because we want to put great songs on the album. We don’t want to rush it. I know that people have been waiting.”
As for some finer details about the album, the singer / recent “Glee” guest star revealed to Ology in another interview published on Monday that she is working on recording some music with a couple of heavyweights here in the United States:
“I am a big fan of Bruno Mars and Nick Jonas. I am really blessed to be able to work with them. I didn’t really have a chance to meet Bruno Mars. I just heard his song, and we communicated mostly on the internet and emailing. I did meet Nick Jonas and he was really nice, but I am still hoping to meet Bruno Mars.”
While we all already know some of Bruno’s own hits, he also contributed to such smashes as “Forget You” by Cee Lo Green, “Right Round” for Flo Rider, and “Rocketeer” for Far*East Movement. (Of course, he has also written a number of his own songs.)
Who do you want to see Charice work with more than anyone else?
