One Direction is back, and once again they are ready to take all of Great Britain (and the world) by storm. The famed boy band from “The X Factor” saw their music video for their new single “Live While We’re Young” leak to the internet a little bit earlier than expected; and with that in mind, it prompted an early release of the official song.
Really, this track is just about what you would expect from a boy band that is still really trying to mature. There is is plenty of fun, craziness, laughter, and rolling around in plastic giant balls. In many ways, this video is reminiscent of their original hit “What Makes You Beautiful,” at least when it comes to it having that sort of uplifting feel. One Direction’s videos are not really meant to be a visual spectacle or something that is emotive or touching; really, they are just supposed to make you feel good almost as though you are watching the end of a romantic comedy.
“Live While We’re Young” is set to be the first single off of the group’s new album “Take Me Home,” which is going to officially launch in the United Kingdom on Monday, November 12. It will be made available the very next day in America, and it will likely shatter all sorts of sales records once you consider just how popular the group is right now around the world. It’s also coming up at a time when albums are being picked up left and right thanks to the holiday season.
