There are so many ways in which Nathan Fillion has a tendency to endear himself to all of us, and we are glad that “Castle” over the years has found ways to incorporate these into their actual show … especially when it comes to our fondness for Fillion’s past work on shows like “Firefly”.
We’re sure very few fans have forgotten that Rick Castle more or less went as Malcolm Reynolds to a Halloween celebration on the show a few years back, and during the upcoming episode inspired by Comic-Con set to air a little later this season, we are also going to be seeing a rather fun reference to the beloved Browncoat.
According to a report from TV Guide, one of the characters that we are going to be meeting on this upcoming episode is known other than “Capt. Max Richards” which is a name that has to be no coincidence. Unlike Fillion, though, the actor who is going to be behind this character will be a bit washed-up and a alcoholic; and thanks to his behavior, he will become a suspect when one of his most loyal fans ends up getting killed. We really hope that this guy is not the killer by any means, mostly because we have wondered about some actors who show up to these conventions who we have only marginally heard of in recent years. (Think Johnny Drama on season 2 of “Entourage.”)
Now that we have another reference thrown in here to the show and Adam Baldwin has already appeared, can we now have Alan Tudyk or Summer Glau stop by for an episode … please? If you want to see how Nathan Fillion is going to be showing off some more of his “sexy” side on the show this season, all you have to do is check out the story over at the link here.
