‘Private Practice’ season 6 spoilers: Back on the market

We know that Addison has to make a pretty big decision when “Private Practice” returns with new episodes on Tuesday, but it is now looking as though there is one thing we can think for sure: no matter what happens between her, Sam, and Jake, the guy who gets left out in the cold is going to waste little to no time trying to find help elsewhere.

According to TV Guide, the person that Addison does not end up choosing early on in the season is going to be diving back into a romance almost right away; however, what is a little unclear is whether or not this person will be doing it with the explicit intention of falling in love, or to try and get Addison out of their head while also boosting their own self-esteem.

With Kate Walsh already confirming that she is leaving “Private Practice” at the end of this season, executive producer Shonda Rhimes is likely doing everything in her power now to ensure that the endgame for this character is set up in a way that there is enough time to tell the end of this story, and that begins with Addison making her decision. This does not necessarily mean for sure that the series is going to end after this year, but there will probably need to be some sort of significant ratings growth for ABC to justify bringing the show back after it was barely renewed this past May.

Who do you think Addison should choose at the start of this season, and how do you imagine this playing out come finale time?  If you want to check out some more hints that Addison may have a favorite between these two guys, you can do so by visiting the story that is up over at this link.
