So what is Joanne Frogatt having to say now about the third season of “Downton Abbey“? The cast has been done for several weeks now when it comes to filming, and it looks as though the actress is excited more than anything else to see where all of their hard work ends up on the small screen.
Speaking in a new interview with ITN, Froggatt promises that there are many exciting things in store for American and British audiences alike when the show airs, and she is excited especially to see some of the scenes that she did not watch the filming for as her character of Anna.
As for what upcoming story outside of her own that she is the most excited about, Froggatt was not keen to give much away:
“There are so may storylines that are so brilliant … [I can’t say much more] but you will have to watch and see.”
The new season is already airing new episodes Sunday nights on ITV, but the long hiatus continues here in America until we see more of the show on PBS in early 2013. Want some consolation? Imagine this: in some countries, new “Downton Abbey” episodes do not air for an even longer stretch of time … and although there are ways that you watch episodes online, none of them give you that same visceral punch as getting the opportunity to sit down with your loved ones and watch it live.
What storyline at the moment are you the most excited to see play out on the small screen? We want to hear some of your thoughts with a comment in the box below! If you want to check out a promo for the second episode of the new season, you can do so by reading the article over at the link here.
