There’s some breaking news coming now on the “Dexter” front, but we have to include a pretty major warning with it this time: if you do not want to be even remotely spoiled or pondering over what a certain title could mean, now is the time to stop reading.
According to a new report from SpoilerTV, the title for the season 7 ender is going to be none other than something that we cannot even type here without censorship: “Surprise, Motherf****r.” If you are a diehard fan of the show, then you already know that this is a famous quote from Sargent James Doakes said during the end of the show’s first season. It quickly went viral, and it may be something people remember him for even more than his actual death scene by the hands of Lila.
So what does this title mean? All we know is that Dexter was in trouble. LaGuerta is going to discover a blood slide at the scene of Travis Marshall’s grave during the season premiere airing on September 30, and she is a fine cop, one that is certainly fine enough to connect the dots here and figure out that the Bay Harbor Butcher is still alive. While there may be some flashier stories that unfold all season long, this is probably the one with the greatest potential to haunt Dexter at the end of the day.
What do you think about this title, and do you love if nothing else that the show is making such a grand effort to tribute Doakes this season even without him around? If you want to see a new video featuring C.S. Lee talking about some of the changes for his character of Masuka on the show, be sure to head on over to the link here.
