If you thought that “American Horror Story” was going to be staying planted firmly in the past for their new season subtitled “Asylum,” be prepared to be proven wrong. As a matter of fact, we even have an official date at the moment for when we will see a move into the present.
According to a new report coming to us via E! News, there are going to be some detective sniffing around (presumably at the same site that the insane asylum featured on the show this coming season) beginning with episode six. Why are they there? There are really only two guesses that we can think of at the moment:
1. Someone is trying to replicate the horrors brought about at the asylum nearly five decades in the past.
2. The police are going to be investigating some sort of cold case involving the area, a sign that they did not know what was really going on at this place until now.
Either way, we would be stunned if this was the only appearance the police made in the modern day this season; since they are introducing this element about midway through, we have a feeling that it will stick around until either the end of the season or we have some sort of substantial and satisfying answer.
The season premiere of “American Horror Story” is literally just one month away, so the good news here is that you are not going to have to wait for too much longer. We will have more on the show until that time, so stay tuned.
What do you think could be the reason for the show’s leap forward? We want to hear some more of your thoughts below! If you do want to check out some of the latest creepy teasers for the show, you can do so by checking out the article over at the link here.
