The craziness is continuing in the “Big Brother 14” house, but at least we are now starting to get a little bit of a better sense as to why Dan is working to hard to try and mess with Danielle’s head. If you remember, she had a massive meltdown early Sunday that included her screaming about the kid, blaming him for just about everything, and basically threatening Ian that she will poison the jury during commercial breaks of the finale.
So what is Dan’s real endgame here? Ultimately, it appears to be twofold:
1. In the event that he evicts Ian, he will have someone who will inform the jury just how crazy Danielle is being in the house. Therefore, it’s a valuable sort of ally for him to have.
2. This gives Ian a reason to want to win the final Head of Household Competition, just so he can evict her. Yes, he would lose her vote, but against Dan the likes of Ashley, Britney, Shane, and Jenn would all for sure vote for him to win, with Frank probably thrown in here as well. If Danielle was still around against him in the final two, the only votes he would have for sure by our estimation would be Ashley and Britney. Dan and Shane would for probably vote for Danielle, and everything else would be a little more up in the air.
Ultimately, Dan’s plan is working: Ian said that Danielle’s behavior is something he does not want to endorse in a million years, and he would much rather go against Dan even if he does end up losing to him.
