We have watched a good many seasons of “Big Brother,” but we are not quite so sure we have seen someone treat another finalist as badly as Danielle has treated Ian. We’re not quite sure what he has done to her outside of winning the second part of the final Head of Household Competition, but she is saying awful things about him constantly, threatening him that she will ruin his game if he evicts her, and accusing him behind his back of being cocky when she is the same exact thing. Really, we think all of this is her just deflecting her anger about Dan being the person to send Shane home onto him, mostly because he should be gone in her mind.
Ultimately, what it is starting to look like in the house is a very rare situation where two people are both going to try to throw the same challenge. Neither Dan nor Ian wants to be the party responsible for sending Danielle out the door, so it’s feasible that both of them will play to lose so they do not have to send her out the door. Daielle told Ian Sunday night in a ridiculous move that she refuses to vote for anyone who votes her out to win the game. It’s a petty threat, but it is an effective one in some ways.
So in the event that Dan does win, will he take Danielle? Our guess is “probably,” mostly because Ian also said that had he gone out at the final four, he would have voted for the best player rather than just who he was upset at over his eviction.
Do you think Danielle is playing an effective game to get into the finale, or is her treatment and constant threatening of Ian going a little over the line? If you want to see our full review of Sunday night’s new episode, you can do so by heading over to the link here.
