‘The X Factor’ UK review: Carolynne Poole returns, Robbie Hance rocks

The final round of “The X Factor” auditions aired on Sunday, and we did get to see a little bit more talent that Great Britain is going to be bringing into the next round, including a great group, a bunch of guys who love to hit on Tulisa Contostavlos, and also some general wackiness

Rough Copy – We love the acts that make us believe that they are going to be terrible with their behavior, only to end up being pretty good. These boys’ egos were through the roof before they went out on stage, and their dance moves are pretty questionable. However, there is some definite potential here. They need to perform together a lot more, but the good news is that they at least seem to get along with each other rather well.

Dale Ali – This guy sang in Tulisa’s face. We’re pretty sure she could have head-butted him and he would have gone away.

Adam Burridge,¬†George Shelley, and¬†Nathan Fagan Gayle – We were not entirely sure why we didn’t see more of these young men in action. They were amazing! Granted, they may not have had the sort of sappy sort that this show has a tendency to lap up.

Robbie Hance – While we don’t always buy the story of every person who comes on this show and claims to be homeless or going through tough times, we bought Robbie’s story not because of what he said, but how he acted. He was optimistic and genuinely grateful to even be getting a chance to audition … even though he has no confidence at all. There is some talent here if he has an opportunity to work on it. Now, we just hope that someone is able to find him after the rumors of him going missing turn out to be true.

Danielle Scott – She was the first female on this week’s show with only a smidgen of talent, but we were not sure she was not good enough to make it through. She really just needs to actually working on singing along with the song … and in tune.

Carolynne Poole – Now, we have the first great female singer of the competition. We knew she was going to be good after making it all the way to the judges’ houses phase of the competition, but this was far better than anything we could imagined her doing last year. There was more of a soul behind it, and not just some empty feeling of a good voice and nothing else.
