‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5 preview: How do you keep everyone alive?

Based on just what we saw with Pope at the end of “Sons of Anarchy’s” 90-minute premiere on Tuesday night, we were quickly reminded of one thing: we are going to be in for quite a deadly season. With some of the factions in this world escalating their feuds to new heights, we really do not have any idea yet just where some of this will lead. What can we say for sure? That it will definitely involve plenty of bullets and blood.

Just in the promo below, you can see Pope calling for more death and Jax asking aloud what is a very key question: how in the world do you keep everyone alive at a time when there is so much danger all around? Gemma’s in danger, Clay’s lucky to be alive by Jax’s hand at all, and we also have the arrival of another new character in Nero (Jimmy Smits) to help mix things up here even further.

We assume that this is going to be the season in which some of the show’s endgame is put in motion. So long as the ratings stay as high as they were for the premiere, we foresee the show being around for at least two more seasons … and at that point, seven years is really long enough for a cable series. You want to end things before you overstay your welcome, and with the show still in its stride, that really seems to be the perfect time to go out with a bang (or in the case of this show, many bangs).

What do you think about the video, and do you have any predictions for the rest of this season? We want to hear some of your thoughts! If you want some more news about Joel McHale’s upcoming role as Warren, be sure to visit the link here.
