Daniel Craig feared delays in new Bond movie

Daniel had worries about delays in filming

As problems with the 23rd Bond film kept pushing the start date back actor Daniel Craig began to fear that  by the time they were ready to go to camera that he would be too old to play the very cool James Bond.

Due to financial issues at MGM studios the follow up to the 2008 Bond film ‘Quantum of Solace’ has been on hold indefinitely, causing Craig to worry about his role in the film.

Craig explains;

“If we couldn’t get the film made it would be ridiculous because we’d made all this money and it was a good bet. They were just in a very complicated financial situation but there was nothing (film bosses) could do. Either it was going to sort itself out or I was going to get too old and that would be the end of it. I was desperate to have another crack at it. I think I would have felt disappointed eventually.”

Luckily the financial problems were resolved and filming of the next James Bond film will begin later this year with Daniel Craig reprising the role of 007.
