‘Saturday Night Live’ preview: One last look at Seth MacFarlane, Frank Ocean

Before we finally get to this weekend’s edition of “Saturday Night Live,” we have one final promo to look at featuring the likes of host Seth MacFarlane and musical guest Frank Ocean.

While the “Family Guy” creator was previously joined by Kenan Thompson in the first promo that was released, he has the assistance this time around of Fred Armisen, who does at least prove a few laughs here and there. This is a transition show for Armisen as much as it is anyone else on the cast, and maybe even more so; in addition to having so many new cast members, Fred is going to be passing the torch on his Barack Obama impersonation for the first time to Jay Pharoah.

As for what Ocean will bring to the stage, it was will be the same sort of musical excellence that he exhibited with the launch of his debut album “Channel Orange” earlier this year. Ocean has quickly become a rising star in music, and he even produced one of the most special moments of the 2012 MTV VMAs earlier this year with the ballad “Thinking About You.” We do’t know what he will perform here just yet, but there are rumors hat John Mayer will be joining him on stage. He should get the standard “SNL” performance slot, which is two songs over the course of the 90-minute show.

What are you more excited about than anything else when it comes to this show? We want to hear some more of your thoughts by leaving a comment below! If you want to see more of what MacFarlane has to say about the show before stepping out on the famous stage all you have to do is head on over to the link here.
