“The Vampire Diaries” has yet to air a single episode of their fourth season, but they are moving right along when it comes to getting these installments in the can. So just how efficient are they moving these days? Let’s just say that within the past two months, they have completed scripts on more than a third of the entire 23-episode season.
In a most on her Twitter account, executive producer Julie Plec confirmed the news with the following message:
Save for a certain plot revolving around Elena being a vampire, the writing and production teams have done a pretty good job keeping what is going to be the story for the overall season pretty tightly under wraps. All we really do know at the moment is that the “big bad” does seemingly look like it will be the vampire hunter Connor, but with Klaus potentially set to enter his own body at some point before the end of this season, you have to assume that he will also come roaring back.
In addition to all this, you have to wonder if Klaus being trapped in Tyler’s body means that another certain vampire could return, thinking all is well for her to be seen again in Mystic Falls: Katherine. It’s been almost a full year since we have seen her, but she remains a major part of the show.
Do you have any theories on what the overall story could be, and what do you want to see happen? We want to hear some more of your thoughts below!
