‘Glee’ first look preview: Heather Morris set to rule ‘Britney 2.0’

Do you want your first look at next week’s episode of “Glee“? Let’s just say that after spending much of last week on the sidelines, Heather Morris’ character of Brittany S. Pearce is poised to take center stage for our second Britney Spears tribute episode in two years.

So what’s the story going to be in “Britney 2.0”? Let’s just say that she is going to be in a funk following the graduation of Santana (who we have expected to see already), and will need to find a new way to feel empowered and a part of McKinley High society again. The show’s first promo (which you can see below) features Brittany performing a pair of popular songs in “Hold It Against Me” and “Gimme More,” and it already looks as though one of them is going to be something that Sue Sylvester does not fully approve of.

Elsewhere during this episode, be ready to see the beginning of the Jake / Marley (or “Jarley”) romance as these two have a little bit of a moment on the bleachers outside of the school. Kurt and Rachel are also going to be getting accustomed to their brand-new digs in New York, which is most definitely going to be an experience. Plus, Lea Michele’s character is also finally going to get to know a few new details about Kate Hudson’s Cassandra July that give her a whole new viewpoint on the sort of character that she is.

In the midst of all of the Britney performances, let’s just hope that there is a plot to go with it. This is what made the first Britney tribute at times painful to watch, and we’d hate to see that happen again.

If you want to read some more about how this premiere first allowed us to see the awesomeness that is Marley, all you have to do is head on over to the link here.
