“Once Upon a Time” is quickly chugging along for production on its second season, and although they have yet to even air the premiere entitled “Broken” (as that will come on Sunday, September 30), the show is working on casting for episode 7.
So who could be turning up the fairy tale world or Storybrooke next? Here’s what we have. According to SpoilerTV, we have a pair of interesting new characters who are going to make their presence felt in one way or another. The first is Anita, who is described as a “sexy sorceress” in her mid-to-late forties who lives away from her family out of fear that her magic will cause them all problems. The one significant thing about this character right away is that we do know that there is at least one more person out there away from Rumpelstiltskin and the Evil Queen who knows how to use magic.
The same thing also goes for another new character in Quinn, who takes things up a notch with his belief that this power can be used for good rather than for evil. He is a part of a community with a similar mindset; and while it sounds a little bit like a cult, at least it’s not one of those creepy evil cults that you tend to see in the movies all of the time.
It’s unclear if these roles are minor or if they have a place in multiple episodes, but we can at least say this: remember that we were supposed to learn more this season about who can use magic and who’s can’t? This episode sounds very much like the story of magic more so than any individual character.
