The season 4 premiere of “Glee” is now just mere hours away, but for this new edition of show scoop, we are actually looking way beyond this at what could be happening on the show a little further down the road.
So when are we going to see some of our beloved characters back following their graduation? According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amber Riley and Harry Shum Jr. are each going to appear for the first time on the fifth episode this season, and their purpose is actually going to be pretty simple: try and help out Artie (Kevin McHale) with something mysterious that he is working on. What is it? We have a feeling it is either some project he is creating, or he is making a move on one of the ladies still at McKinley and needs a little bit of help. (We still would not be shocked at seeing Artie / Tina 2.0 despite the long relationship she just had with Mike.)
As for some other graduated seniors, the future is a little bit more unclear save for Lea Michele (Rachel), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Cory Monteith (Finn), and Naya Rivera (Santana), who we know are all a part of the first four episodes. It does make sense for Mark Salling to show up as Puck early on given that he is new cast member Jake’s half-brother, but Puck does not even know that the guy exists. Really, that just leaves us Dianna Agron’s Quinn Fabray, and we may be waiting until the Thanksgiving episode in November for her to turn up, given that the actress has been working on a movie overseas.
