‘Big Brother 14’ review: Danielle and Shane are more awkward than ever

Considering that we already knew every single thing that was going to happen during Wednesday night’s new episode of “Big Brother 14,” there really was not that much that came as a surprise to us. Shane won the Power of Veto and took himself off the block, and with that Jenn knew that the nail was in her coffin. She didn’t have any chance of staying in this game, and was thus evicted by a unanimous vote.

The only part of Jenn’s exit that we really found engaging? Her being so candid with Julie Chen after leaving the house. We really wonder why we didn’t hear any of this during the actual season!

Now that we have that out of the way (and that Danielle is the new Head of Household courtesy of a very boring Competition), we now get to the main event: the “date” that she went on with Shane as a result of winning the Power of Veto Competition. The good news? They got to meet the members of the “Fierce Five” that won the gold medal at the London Olympics. The bad news? That was really the only nice part of this. Danielle really wants Shane to go out with her beyond her time in the house. Shane just wants all of this to be over and to get her jury vote at the end if he makes it there and she doesn’t.

What did you think about this episode, and are Shane and Danielle officially the worst couple in “Big Brother” history? We want to hear some more of your thoughts with a comment below!
