The third episode of “Glee” this coming season is entitled “Makeover,” and we have some of the first official details as to what to expect from what will be Sarah Jessica Parker’s first and possibly only appearance on the show.
In a press release put out by Fox, here are the bare-bones details of what we can plan to see from the worlds of McKinley High and also New York City:
“The campaign showdown begins when Brittany and Blaine go head-to-head for Student Council President. Meanwhile, Kurt gets the internship of his dreams”
As for what else we know about this episode, the “makeover” refers to something that Lea Michele’s Rachel undergoes in order to feel a little bit more confident about taking on the supremely intimidating Cassandra July (Kate Hudson). As for whether or not Kurt lasts through this internship, that is to be seen; what we can at least say is that he is also going to be remaking his own image to come across as a little more adult.
Finally, the reason that Blaine (Darren Criss) is running against Brittany (Heather Morris) for Student Council President is pretty simple: he’s trying to get involved in as many things as possible to take away the pain from missing Kurt. This move in turn, though, is going to leave him with even less time to talk to the character, which makes us wonder if this will be one of the issues that the couple addresses during a very nerve-wrecking episode coming up following “Makeover” in “The Break-Up.”
Who do you think should win the student election based on our two candidates?
