If you love big-name guest stars constantly coming on board “The Good Wife” we have some more good news to share … though this time around, it is of a comedian that is actually just playing themselves.
CBS announced Wednesday that “Real Time” host Bill Maher will cross over from HBO to make a cameo in an upcoming season 4 episode, even though it is currently unclear just in what context his character will appear. This is hardly the first time that the show has featured cameos from people associated with politics in one way or another, and in this case, we wonder if Maher is going to be giving any hard-hitting commentary when it comes to Alicia’s relationship with her ex Peter.
“The Good Wife” will return for its fourth season on Sunday, September 30 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, but there is going to be a major wrinkle coming in here this year. On nights when CBS has an afternoon football game, the show is going to be pushed back half an hour so viewers will have more of an understanding as to when it is actually going to come on. As for some other guest stars, we are going to see the likes of Maura Tierney, Kristin Chenoweth, Nathan Lane, and Michael J. Fox all stop by at some point during the show’s early episodes.
What do you think about Maher coming on board the show, and are you excited to see what he ends up contributing? We want to hear some more of your thoughts with a comment below!
