Emmys 2012: ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ ‘Mindy Project’ stars to present

The 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards are airing a week from Sunday over on ABC, and we are finally starting to find out some key pieces of information that are always exciting: the official lineup of presenters.

While this is far from the full list of people presenting for TV’s biggest night, here are just a few additions to the lineup along with our snap judgment:

-Mindy Kaling, who is getting a prime chance to promote the premiere of “The Mindy Project” two days early … and the shell of a show that is “The Office.”

-Jim Parsons, who is will be starting off his victory lap early before he wins another trophy for “The Big Bang Theory.”

-Amy Poehler, who is probably as confused as we are about why “Parks and Recreation” was shunned in the Outstanding Comedy Series category.

-Ricky Gervais, who is confused and thinking that he is supposed to be there for the Golden Globes.

-Ginnifer Goodwin, who is probably looking for a few voters to wag her finer at over Robert Carlyle missing out on an acting nomination for “Once Upon a Time.”

Of course, the list here is exactly that the Emmy organizers love: a mix of established TV veterans and new faces who are going to be trying to take the small screen to the next level when the fall season official kicks off (even though it is already starting to get under way a little bit).

What do you think about this list so far, and who do you want to see present at the show? If you want to check out some more of our comprehensive Emmy Rankings series (which you really should if you want some early predictions), you can so by visiting the story over at this link.
