‘So You Think You Can Dance’ rankings: Cyrus Spencer now a favorite

The finale episode of “So You Think You Can Dance” is now just mere hours away, and if for whatever reason this does turn out to be the final episode of the show, we just hope that it ends with some great dancing, funny moments, and strong judging that reminds us why this is the gold standard of reality competition shows.

There are only four contestants left, and these are even polarizing in some ways. The two remaining guys have come under fire at various times this season, while with the women we have two incredibly strong dancers who may not have the same attention given to their personalities.

The guys

2. Chehon Wespi-Tschopp – He has been criticized for being too intense at times in his performances, but there is no question why Chehon is still here; when he is on, there is really no one quite like him. We’re not sure we have ever seen someone with his level of physicality on the show, and can do ballet like he can. The moment this show is over, he’ll be one of the more sought-after dancers in the industry.

1. Cyrus Spencer – With that being said, this is really Cyrus’ show. It’s all about who is America’s favorite, and the growth he has shown i just a few months is unprecedented. He’s never been in danger, and we don’t expect that to change anytime soon.

The girls

2. Tiffany Maher – At one point, we assumed that this competition was going to be a shoo-in for Eliana to win, but hats off to Tiffany: she has really made a name for herself in the competition. She’s learned over this season to not let a lack of significant airtime get the better of her, and her past few performances have been stellar.

1. Eliana Girard – Now, we turn to Eliana. It’s possible that she could end up losing this competition still, but we don’t think there is anyone who feels dance from within her core on the same level as she does. Every move that she does has a purpose, and we have a feeling this resonates big time with folks watching at home.

Who are you rooting for to win this season? We want to hear some more of your thoughts below! If you want to see some more news pertaining to the show’s struggle in the ratings, you can do so by paying a visit over to the link here.
