Creation Entertainment has an F rating with the better business bureau, so consider that if you’re considering booking a future event with them. I had tickets for NJ. However after Tobias cancelled, then Steve Cree, then Sam, I figured Caitriona was next and decided not to go. Fortunately I had flexible airfare and hotel arrangements and didn’t lose money there. Creation, despite saying they refund separate autographs and photo ops have made it extremely difficult and have said they refunded items to credit card which did not happen. I had to dispute the charges with the credit card company and they verified that creation never credited the items they said they had.

My problem is not with the actors. Of course they have to do their jobs and we all should understand that. My peeve is with Creation, who are running this event. They are arrogant and greedy. The attendees who were going only for Sam or for Cait should be able to get a refund. They now have the four main actors not attending, so they are not producing an “Outlander” event as promised. I’m extremely angry at Creation but happy the actors have new opportunities. I live in NJ and only lost a general admission fee. I feel so sorry for the fans who lost a lot more. It is reprehensible on Creation’s part and they should be ashamed!!

I was one who decided not to go to NJ from CA 12 hours before. Was in over $2000 for the experience I hoped to have. I would have done it, but having all three top stars cancel, plus Steven Cree whom I adore, was too much. No ill will, but it was just too much money.

I suggest buyers to read terme and conditions carefully. I personally experienced 3 cancellations in 2 years. If you go just to meet the actor you’d better buy the ticket last minute. If you go forse The actor and other reasons then your disappoinment will be minimal.

In 3 months we will see them promoting the new season and it will be better. Maybe STARZ should have a convention to make money that many of us had planned to spend. ($535 for the dual VIP)

All the so called fans are doing is guaranteeing Sam and others will not sign up for anymore Cons in the future. The organizers of the Cons make it very clear the tickets are not refundable, just for this reason. Actors act. This is how they make a living…
