Do you feel as though ABC is circling the wagons a bit when it comes to the “Grey’s Anatomy” premiere on September 27? Well, they are … but there’s a good reason why. The network obviously wants to give us as loyal viewers as much information as possible, but at the same time they do not want to give us so many details that we know everything about what is going to happen before it actually does, especially when there are so many secrets including the fates of Mark (Eric Dane, who is leaving the show for sure) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw).
With that in mind, ABC has put out the following short synopsis of the premiere. Think of it as a tiny taste of some of what we are going to be seeing soon:
“The doctors of Seattle Grace are faced with the aftermath of last season’s plane crash. As they try to move on with their lives, they must learn to adapt to the changes, cope with their losses and move forward with their relationships and careers.”
The plane crash story (which you can see more of in this promo) is something that will play out for the first two episodes of the season, and it may even be the October 4 installment before we know just how exactly all of our favorite doctors were rescued, or at least the ones who make it out alive. Our real hope is that the show somehow, even in the midst of such tragedy and loss, captures some of the joy that we see in such pictures as the one above with Meredith and Derek.
