At this point in “Big Brother 14,” there really are not too many questions left worth asking. However, one of them is pretty simple and revolves around matters of the heart: will Danielle seriously take Dan to the final two, or she she thinking instead all of a sudden that Shane is a better choice for her as her showmance partner?
In a conversation a few hours after she was put up as a replacement nominee Monday afternoon, Danielle did her best to reassure the man that she had spent so much of the game with that the plan really was indeed to stay with him for as long as they could. Even though she had fun hanging out with Shane and watching gymnastics (which you can hear us complain about in full over at this link), she still seems to believe that going to the end with Dan is a better option. Logically, she’s right. Shane will likely use his competition wins to beat Danielle in the final two, while there is at least a chance that everyone in the house will hate Dan over some of the lies he has told to make it this far.
With this in mind, Danielle and Dan are already plotting just how they are going to have to compete like crazy in the finale Head of Household competition of the season. The assumption being made here is that Ian is going to be taken out next week so long as he does not win the final Power of Veto, and thus, they will be able to make it this far. Neither Dan or Danielle is confident that they could win the physical portion of the challenge; however, they each do believe that they could win the other two and be able to take Shane out right before he makes it to the grand finale.
Do you think that Danielle is going to be able to let Shane go, both emotionally and in the context of this crazy game? We want to hear some more of your thoughts below! If you want to check out more from the Veto Ceremony, be sure and hit up the story over at this link.
