Ashton Kutcher wraps up first episode of ‘Two and a Half Men’

One episode down…

Ashton Kutcher may now be settling in to his new role as Walden Schmidt on ‘Two and a Half Men” — after all, the actor just finished up his first episode on the CBS sitcom.

According to a number of on-set reports, the taping seemed to go quite well — with Ashton joining such other series regulars as Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones, and Holland Taylor for the final curtain call. This episode is set to explain that Charlie Sheen’s character of Charlie Harper passed away in some fashion, and there is a service held to remember his life featuring a number of women from his past along with John Stamos.

There are also a number of other reports explaining that Kutcher seems to be already well-liked in his new role, including this on-set quote via TMZ:

“Everything so far is smooth. A little too soon to tell, but Ashton seems very likable and professional. We’re all very happy to be working with him.”

The website also claims that Charlie Harper’s passing is going to be written in as a result of getting in a “subway accident” in Paris — one possibly caused by Rose pushing him onto the tracks after marrying him, and then catching him in the shower with another woman.

Do you think Kutcher is going to be successful on the show long-term?
